The Model SA-07-400 Swing away features one-handed operation, allowing you to easily swing away all our electric lift from your vehicle's trunk, lift-gate, or tailgate. The SA-07-400 only fits 2x2 inches receivers (Class III). Some vehicles are using 1 1/4 inch receivers, if that you need to have a converter from 1 1/4 inch to 2 inches. To prevent damaging this unit and for safe transportation, the bottom of your Hitch-Receiver MUST be at least 8 inches off the ground, but NO MORE than 17 inches distance between 8-17 inches is fine. If not, you need have to a converter to adjust the distance to ground a little higher or lower. Please check with your dealer to find out if your vehicle's carrying capacity. Hitch Required: Class 3 Hitch (2x2 inches). Swings out up 170 degrees.
